- BirchSeek: Every factual claim is extracted and checked against a page BirchSeek fetched, by one of three tests: the writer's excerpt is found in the page's text, a passage of the page overlaps it closely enough, or a model reads the page and calls the claim supported. The claim records which answered. That records four outcomes rather than three, because the writer's excerpt is optional and the first test falls back to the claim's own wording when there is none - so a match can mean the excerpt is on the page, or only that the claim sentence is. Just one of the four proves an excerpt is there. A claim no test confirms blocks the draft until a person replaces the source or cuts the sentence. The ones that pass are listed, by default, in the article published to your own site, so your reader can check them without your word for it.
